Our little world has become lost in an immense universe that holds more planets than there are grains in a cubic mile of fine sand. To add insult to injury, the announcement in March by the Bicep2 research group that gravitational waves were generated in the very early universe supports cosmological models in which even the most distant visible galaxies are relatively near neighbors in a possibly infinite universe—a universe that is, itself, just one component of an unimaginably vast multiverse. While half a millennium ago we thought ourselves the center of the cosmos, in the modern conception of the universe we have become less significant than microbes on a mote of dust.

The Modi government gave Indian billionaire Gautam Adani several hundred acres of grazing land to build a port, a power plant and a special economic zone (Adani Port & Special Economic Zone) for as little as one U.S. cent a square meter (the rate maxed out at 45 cents a square meter). He in turn has sublet this land to other companies, including state-owned Indian Oil Co., for as much as $11 a square meter. Between 2005 and 2007 at least 1,200 hectares of grazing land was taken away from villagers.
While the port has become Adani’s cash cow, the company while constructing the area and the SEZ, violated multiple green rules at different points of its mammoth project–destroying mangroves, filling creeks and causing land and water degradation by dumping fly ash.

The same system that once gave us subprime-mortgage collateralized debt obligations no investor could possibly truly understand now gave us stock-market trades involving fractions of a penny that occurred at unsafe speeds using order types that no investor could possibly truly understand. That is why Brad Katsuyama’s desire to explain things so that others would understand was so seditious. He attacked the newly automated financial system at its core, where the money was made from its incomprehensibility.

BJP Election Manifesto 2014 is a great document. Better then Congress and AAP Manifesto. But main thing is that on which political party the voter/consumer has the confidence on the Implementation front. The party which can convince the Voters on Implementation front is going to win the trust of the people.
