In layman,s language taking out all the technical jargon's it means this :
1.Trade deficit means jobs are going to some other country which could have been created in host country. As demand exist and host country is not able to fulfill that demand.
2.Budget deficit has actually no meaning .Government has all the power to print currency.
The problem will only come if it leads to hyper inflation.Otherwise tell me what is the problem with budget deficits as long as money is being spent efficiently for public good like creating more local jobs.

Population engaged in agriculture 100 years ago used to be up to 90% of total work force .Now it is hardly 1-2 % in developed countries.Balance in Services and then Manufacturing.
I think in next 100 years when information age is truly upon us may be up to 90% of the population will be involved in anything/everything related with computers i.e hardware, software, networking etc etc and balance 10 % will be taking care of all other occupations.
